Boarding Kennels
Our Kennels are Licensed by The Scottish Borders Council.
We have full liability insurance.
The kennels are heated and protected by an alarm system and recorded CCTV 24 hours a day.

We have an online booking system. You will need to register yourself and your pet to check availability and make a booking.
Your pet will need to have a current vaccination of either L2 or L4 which ever your vet uses. Also your pet will need to have the kennel cough vaccine. There are two vaccines available. The oral one onset immunity is 21 days. The nasal one is 72 hours. The vaccines both last for 12 months. Please email a copy of your vaccinations when you book a boarding kennel. Dogs that have not boarded with us before should be dropped off between 09:15 and 11:45. This gives them time to settle, meet us in the day light and meet the other dogs. We don't really want dogs dropped off after 3pm as they won't get out with the other dogs until bed time and will just be shut in their heated kennel in the winter. Any questions please ask.
When booking we require a drop off and collection time.
First drop off for overnight boarders is 09:15 to 11:45 and 14:15 to 16:45.
We close between 12:00 and 14:00.

Pricing for Boarding
NEW PRICING FOR BOARDING. 1st JANUARY 2025
We charge per day, not per night and not per 24 hours.
One Dog is £19.50 + vat per day.
Two Dogs Sharing is £28.00 + vat per day.
A deposit of £50 is required on booking. Please pay your balance via link which you will receive 14 days before your dogs stay.
The system will automatically take payment after the second reminder.
We only supply premium dog food at £1.00 per day for a small dog or £1.50 per day for a large dog.
Our food has a nutritional Value of over 70%. The meat content ranges from 65% to 85% depending on flavour. If you wish to check out the nutritional value of your own food: www.allaboutdogfood.com
We let the dogs out in small groups 5 times a day from 06.30am and lastly at bedtime between 9pm at night.
We accept most breeds as long as they are at least six months old, in good health and fully vaccinated. Young dogs need to be toilet trained. WE DO NOT accept XL Bully type dogs, or dogs that have to be muzzled, or dogs that are antisocial with humans or other dogs.
To Meet our licensing and insurance requirements.
We DO NOT take dogs that are NOT fully vaccinated, or old dogs that are in poor health. We do not allow bitches in heat to stay at the kennels at anytime. If you arrive and your bitch is in heat they will not be permitted to stay. If they come into heat while they are here, your emergency contact will be required to collect them the same day.
We feed the dogs twice a day, although we can feed three times if required and administer medication.
All deposits are non refundable and non transferable. All bookings are only confirmed when a deposit is paid. The balance is due 14 days prior to your pets stay, which you will be sent a link for by our automated system. You cannot use old links. Bookings are non refundable within 14 days of their stay, or transferable to other dates.

Eshiels Dog Tub
We are now open 2pm to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Do it yourself Dog Wash and dry. Wash and dry your dog for £15 plus vat. Please book by texting Andrea on 07973752148. There is a 20 minute limit, to reduce the cost of water and electricity please.

If your dog is boarding and you wish to have them washed please book them in at the time of your boarding booking. They also need to be collected on time as we will have them ready waiting in The Dog Tub for you.

No dogs in heat please.
Dog Training
At Eshiels we offer Pet Obedience. Gundogs training. Utility Dog Training, and Trail Dog Training.
One to one classes are on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 10am. 11am. 2pm. and 3pm.
Lessons last 45 minutes to one hour. We start with all the basics. By teaching dogs to walk to heal without pulling. Sitting at distance. Recall by voice and whistle. We can also teach most dogs to retrieve and not chase.
Cost for a block of 6 lessons is £300 inclusive of vat. Lessons are non refundable and payable after the first lesson. We require a minimum of three days notice to change a lesson.
